Excellent service from initial phone conversation to estimate to completion. Nick Schery, Master Electrician and I think the owner, provided a free estimate, came to the house and discussed my options and cost and benefits of each. He provided a detailed written estimate the next day. Their prices were very competitive. When I asked, Nick even took the time to research and recommend several generators and a tent for my specific job. The electrician that did the job, Robert, was very knowledgeable, was courteous, and did not rush the job. Very professional. He made sure everything was done right and walked me through the steps on how to hook up the generator, properly engage the interlock mechanism he had installed at the electric panel, run it and shut it off safely etc. They even provided a laminated instruction sheet! He also replaced my garage lights and, when he finished picked up everything and swept the floor. I am a retired International Executive and Board of Director Member with several multinational companies and I can tell you that these folks have build a company culture based on fair pricing and outstanding customer service and follow-through, things that are very rare these days. I would recommend them very highly. Thank you.

Destiny was referred to me by my neighbor. Nick came right over and gave me a quote that included everything I wanted done. The men were here a few days later and completed the project. The pricing was right and the workmanship was excellent. Being brand new to Jax area we wanted to make a good connection with a contractor. These guys are excellent.

I do not understand how they have so many good reviews. I had a terrible experience with them. I had a sensor switch I wanted replaced. There was no issue with the switch or light, I just wanted a different style switch with an override for the auto off. They replaced it with another switch that does NOT have the override function and now the light just strobes for a few seconds then shuts off. They came back and took zero responsibility and tried to charge a fortune to replace the light they obviously caused an issue with in the first place. They were supposed to feed my doorbell wire through the brick behind the doorbell so it wouldn't be visible (photos below). They needed to cut a "small hole" on the inside wall of my living room. I said ok, as long as they could cut behind the alarm keypad so it wasn't noticeable after being patched. They agreed then I come back to a large hole cut right underneath the keypad. Then they told me they couldn't do anything with the doorbell, so I still have the wire hanging off the side of my doorbell and a 6inx6in hole in my living room wall. *Update-Heck Electric came and fed my doorbell wire through quickly and with zero issues. Not sure why destiny said it couldn't be done after they destroyed my wall. They also added an outlet in a bedroom. They said they could do it, but would again have to cut a "small hole" and showed me about a 2inx2in square at the ceiling where they would cut. I said fine it is small and near the ceiling, I can have that easily patched also. This is before they damaged my living room wall or I would have known better and said no. They actually cut (photos below) a 22inx5in and 19inx5in hole across the corner right in the middle of my wall!! Again, no apology, no offer to make things right. I had more work I needed done, but I was horrified at the quality of their work, their lack of common sense, and their poor customer service, so I told them nevermind. *Nick, I appreciate your response, but as I said in my review, your employees did clear it with me. They just did not cut the holes the same size or the same location that we had previously agreed upon. They had permission to cut a small hole behind my keypad, not a large one underneath. They also had permission to cut a 2inx2in hole up high where the wall meets the ceiling, not a 41x5in hole spanning across the middle of 2 walls. It is also worth noting that the person who did my estimate was not the one who cut my walls, so perhaps there was a miscommunication between them.

Oven went out on Thanksgiving Day with a Turkey IN THE OVEN!! I Called and spoke with the owner Nick and he put me at ease by quickly diagnosing the problem over the phone. He got Billy out to the house the following Monday in the time frame he quoted. Billy and the other gentleman with him (I am sorry for forgetting his name) showed up and got right to work. He gave me a definite price on one install, and said they need to look at the relocation of the other floodlight to give me an accurate quote. I scheduled an appointment with Nick to upgrade my electrical panel a month in advance, and verified the appointment the week before. Unfortunately a family emergency occurred early morning the day of service, and when I reached out to Nick to reschedule I was met with zero understanding or grace. He told me "Some more advanced notice would have definitely been appreciated". When I apologized and tried to explain that simply wasn't possible due to the abruptness of the emergency he told me "At this point I am no longer interested in doing the job for you, I would have to recommend you find someone else to perform the service". In a time of stress this is not the attitude I would have liked to be met with. No compassion.

He responded quickly to calls and messages, and showed up on time even after I was a bit delayed in confirming our appointment, which was a great surprise. Overall, Destiny Electric has been a perfect company for anything I've needed so far, and I intend to use them for any electrical work I may have in the future. John and Ben have executed the work in the remodel and great to work with during this renovation. I am a discerning customer. Nick and his helper, I forgot his name sorry. They showed up to give an estimate and were ready to do the job but I wanted to wait till the following week. Not a problem. Nick Showed up on time and completed the job quickly and professionally. I had 3 outlets installed. 2 for a bathtub and 1 for the wall in the same bathroom. They used 2 of my wires that I had in place but not hooked up to the breaker box. They ran the other wire and had this done within a couple hours. One thing they did that impressed me was they cleaned up after. Wow. That is a thing most contractors don't do. I think they gave a fair price and I would recommend Destiny Electric to anyone needing help with their project.

Professional, prompt and courteous! Nick arrived on time and helped me figure out what five of my light switches actually operated. One of them was a three way switch that was supposed to operate my chandelier..now I can from two locations. The other switches were connected to junction boxes outside that are prewired for front and rear landscape lighting! Didn't even know I had those. I had a hot water heater installed and by the end of the day, still did not have hot water. The plumber came back out and told me the problem was a bad breaker and to call an electrician. When I called Destiny Electric, I was expecting them to tell me that they could not come out the same day, but Shane was able to get me on the schedule for that day and I did not end up having to take yet another day off of work. When Nick came out, he was exceptionally courteous and professional. He got the job done in about ten minutes and I had hot water within the hour. Later, Shane called just to make sure everything was operating smoothly. I highly recommend them for any electrical work you may need done.
